Dig in Istanbul is a food guide created by food editor Berkok Yüksel. The brand identity design is inspired by a playful and sincere approach to food, with a hint of pop culture. The logomark features an illustration of someone literally digging into a bowl of food, emphasizing the guide’s mission to help readers dig into Istanbul’s delicious cuisine. To complement the logomark, almost sixty pictograms were designed to categorize the extensive content featured in the guide. These pictograms were created with the same visual style as the logo, featuring vibrant red as the primary color in the brand’s color palette. The humorous and illustrative design elements used throughout the brand identity emphasize the lively nature of the guide, making it not just informative but also enjoyable to read.
