Inti is a Nikkei restaurant located in Nairobi, Kenya. Nikkei cuisine was born out of the fusion of Japanese recipes and traditions with Peruvian ingredients when a handful of Japanese farmers migrated to Peru at the end of the 19th century. The restaurant’s logo design was created to pay homage to its namesake; the Incan god of sun. The brand identity’s primary red color is a blend of the Japanese and Peruvian flag colors. A large mural using symbolism from both cultures is designed to inform visitors of the cuisine’s rich history.
