Altkat is a local coffee shop situated in the colorful Moda district of İstanbul. As it’s located on the ground floor of a historical building its visual identity was created with a combination of different vintage elements. The direct translation of the coffee shop’s name is downstairs and is referenced with the upside-down use of the letter ‘A’ similar to an arrow pointing down. A floor mosaic of the logo was designed to incorporate the historical feel and create a shareable and distinct image for the coffee shop.
